ABOUT NOWRUBI

NOWRUBI, founded by Ruben Nowak in 2022, is a design venture born out of Berlin, balancing streetwear elements with military backgrounds and racing experiences, showcased as ready-to-wear collections.

Designed from a narrative standpoint, NOWRUBI is a homage to Ruben Nowak's life as a racing driver and German Air Force officer, as well as a modern interpretation of his new life as a fashion designer in Berlin, surrounded by many creative and inspirational human beings.

All patterns and prototypes are designed and developed by him in his Berlin-based studio. In close cooperation with a German production, all designs can be realized as sustainable and efficient as possible.

Ruben is currently at HTW Berlin studying fashion design. He credits his understanding of garments and construction to growing up with a mother who was working in the fashion business, providing a foundation and understanding of how to build each piece and the subsequent stories told with each collection.

NOWRUBI's journey parallels Ruben's, chronicling the evolution of a man from adolescence to maturity, a narrative reflected in each collection. Both the Creative Director and brand take inspiration from his days as a racing driver and as an Air Force Officer and implement his current understanding of fashion in the form of several collections each year.
